About Aisha
For much of my professional career, I worked within the federal government while nurturing a lifelong love of fashion. I was always the person family, friends, and colleagues turned to for an honest opinion, a fresh perspective, or help pulling a look together. In 2007, I began working as a freelance personal stylist and realized that passion needed formal training. That led me to study Fashion and Retail Management at the Art Institute of Washington, where I strengthened my creative instincts with a deeper understanding of merchandising and the business of fashion. I later expanded my expertise through the Image Consulting program at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and professional styling programs at the School of Style. Since then, I have worked with clients and creative teams across D.C., New York, and Los Angeles. My experience spans model shoots, editorial features, advertising campaigns, e-commerce productions, television, film, and personal styling. Today, I bring that perspective to According to AB, my fashion, beauty, travel, books, and lifestyle publication created to celebrate personal style, thoughtful living, and the many ways women continue to evolve.
